10 months agoHelpful?Q: Can I use 4 weight for Ollie the Owl? I know he will be smaller, but are there other modifications to make?
a year ago1 AnswerA: Use 1 hook size smaller than the worsted weight yarn calls for on its label at least, test to ensure the fabric is dense, and then follow the instructions as written.
a year agoHelpful?Q: What size safety eyes are used on the owl?
a year ago1 AnswerA: The designer is recommending 18mm black safety eyes, however, if these are not available to you, a size close to this will work as will small buttons or even crocheting a small black circle with worsted weight yarn.
