5 years agoIt would be nice if they had replacements yarns something close or similar to the yarn that is discontinued. I have a project I am working on would like to find yarn close to light sea foam even if it is another weight.Helpful?Anonymous2 out of 5 stars.Discontinued yarn

4 years agoI made my Granddaughter a blanket using Red Heart Super Saver Frosty Green (no dye lot). I originally bought 6 skeins, realized I needed more, and since the yarn had no dye lots, I didn't think twice and ordered 6 more. I am so very disappointed with the end result. When I presented her with her blanket, I was mortified when clearly the 6 Frosty Green I purchased originally was clearly a different hue than the 6 Ipurchased later. Very disappointed.Helpful?Anonymous1 out of 5 stars.colors

11 months ago1 AnswerA: Thank you for reaching out. We are sorry to share that this colorway has been discontinued although the product line is still in production. We would like to assure you that extensive research goes into how well a colorway is selling before such a decision is made. We have checked our inventory and no longer have available stock to offer. You may wish to try to consider searching eBay.com, Etsy.com, and Amazon.com, as well as Ravelry stashes. Many sellers post our products for sale on those sites and inventory is updated frequently. t the present time there are no plans to bring back the color, however you may want to consider using Cafe Latte in the Red Heart Supersaver line as a close substitute. We wish you luck with your search and apologize that we are unable to assist you further.
11 months agoHelpful?Q: Is the classic thicker than the super saver?
a year ago1 AnswerA: They are the same weight of yarn. Not thicker nor thinner.
a year agoHelpful?Q: Is this still made in USA? Yarninspirations needs to update, no Red Heart yarn that I could find in Joann’s is domestic. Respect to Turkey and India, but we would like to purchase US-made as well!
a year ago1 AnswerA: Thank you for inquiring. All our yarns are sourced overseas as well as manufactured in our Mill in Canada. Unfortunately, we no longer produce our yarns in the United States. Please also note that the Red Heart Classic line mentioned in your inquiry has been out of production for a number of years, and we regret we have no remaining stock to offer of this line.
