2 years agoI have made several coverlets (king and queen size) and they turned out stunning! I love 100% cotton look and feel. Working with this yarn can be a little hard on fingers but finished bedspreads washed up soft and drape well.Yes, I recommend this product.

3 years agolove the Peaches & Crème yarn cones but would love to see some variegated color with a mixture of light and dark grays, browns/tan and white/cream colors. Many of my family and friends are going with the recycled barn board/country look and I’d love to make home decor items to go with it. I love the all natural cotton. Thank you.Helpful?Texas3 out of 5 stars.Knots, too many knots
a year agoI purchase the cones for value. I purchase locally. My recent purchase of Happy Go Lucky and Limeade are disappointing. The HGL had two knots with in 40 knit stitches on a size 8 needle. The color itself was fine with a nice distribution of the spots of colors. The texture of the yarn is stiff but not rough on my hands and made a pretty dishcloth. I’m using Clover Takumi bamboo circular 24 inch, size 8. The Limeade, the yarn texture is softer and knits with a fuller weave. I haven’t found any knots but I’ve only just started the decrease on a granny knit dishcloth. The limeade doesn’t slide over the needle well. I have to slide the stitches with some force, the yarn is knitting tighter. The color looks gorgeous on the cone, sadly it doesn’t pop in the dishcloth. There isn’t enough white and works up as a muddied stripe. I sell my dishcloths and I can tell already the limeade is not going to fly off the shelf. It doesn’t grab the eye. The amount of knots I’ve found lately in the cones is unacceptable. My dishcloths must hold up for my customers. I’ll probably need to reduce my profit margin which is small to begin with and switch to the big box craft store brand. I can’t afford to lose the yardage it takes for long enough tails to weave in so the dishcloths don’t fall apart. No, I do not recommend this product.

Although knots are unfortunately, unavoidable in today's manufacturing process, we would be more than happy to assist you with your product concerns. Please send details to inquire@yarnspirations.com and we will get back to you as quickly as possible. Remember, that when you find a knot, it is recommended to always treat it like a new ball of yarn. You can go back to your edge and rejoin the yarn leaving a strand long enough to weave into the edge of your project.1 Ratings-Only Review

Questions
Start typing your question and we'll check if it was already asked and answered.1 - 2 of 2 QuestionsQ: Where is the beginning strand on this cone anyway!??? Thanks
3 months ago1 AnswerA: Thank you for being so interested in our products! The yarn end is often tucked into the side or underneath a layer of the yarn on the cone. Try gently unwinding the yarn from the outside, and as you peel back the layers, you should come across the beginning strand. Sometimes, the yarn is looped around the outside or near the core of the cone, so check there as well. If you're still having trouble, please send your details to inquire@yarnspirations.com and we will get back to you as quickly as possible.
