Good pattern, potential typo on Row 4

This is a good, easy to follow pattern. However even after doing a proper gauge swatch, I still had to break colors with the rainbow O'Go yarn because the colors were not lining up properly. I believe there is a potential typo on Row 4, the entire row you Pwyif but on the last 7 sts, it says to Pwyib. This leads to no black stripe on the border (You can see this on the sample picture with the yellow row on the top). I ended up frogging because only doing Pwyib on that specific stitch in row 4 looked inconsistent with the rest of the pattern.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: How do I double the width of the blanket? How do I adjust the pattern to that?

    1 Answer

A: The Tweedle Doo Knit Blanket has different sections that have different gauges. Providing a new pattern is beyond the scope of support we are able to provide, however, we can give you some advice to get you moving in the correct direction. Cast on for the blanket will require fewer stitches than the slip stitch section, and you can use your gauge to determine how many. The pattern for the slip stitch is based on a multiple of 4 plus 1 stitches. You will want to add additional stitches to your cast on to so the numbers work out, distributing those stitches evenly across the row. We hope this is helpful to you.

Q: On line 4 you slip the stitch with your yarn in front except for the last 7th stitch where it says to put the yarn in back. I think that is a mistake and the yarn should be in front. Please advise and TIA.

A: Thank you so much for the heads-up! You're correct, the stitch should be slipped with the yarn in front. Thank you for catching the error and letting us know! I've gone on and forwarded this to our design team so that the typo can be corrected and the pattern updated.

Q: Is there an error (as reported) on row #4 of the pattern design? Has this been corrected on the download. Would like to know BEFORE downloading. I have to frog too much because of my own goofs so I don't want to compound my "do-overs." Thanks
