Q: Cr6F= skip next 2 stitches. 1 trfp around each 3 stitches. Working in back of work , 1 trfp around each of skipped stitches. How to work in back of the work with trfp? Same for Cr6B

    1 Answer

A: Thank you for contacting us regarding the largest cable stitches for the Caron Branching Out Crochet Pullover. We are happy to help you understand these stitches. Cr6F = Skip next 3 stitches. 1 trfp around each of next 3 stitches. Working in front of work, 1 trfp around each of skipped 3 stitches. When it comes time to work a Cr6F, you will skip the next 3 stitches and will work 1 trfp around the posts of the next three stitches. After that, cross your hook over the front of those first three trfp stitches you just worked and work 1 trfp around each of the 3 stitches you just skipped. Here is what the abbreviation key says for trfp: Trfp = (Yoh) twice and draw up a loop around post of next stitch at front of work, inserting hook from right to left. (Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) 3 times. Cr6B = Skip next 3 stitches. 1 trfp around each of next 3 stitches. Working in back of work, 1 trfp around each of skipped 3 stitches. For the Cr6B, you will skip the next 3 stitches and will work 1 trfp around the posts of the next three stitches. After that, cross your hook behind the first three trfp stitches you just worked and work 1 trfp around each of the 3 stitches you just skipped. We encourage you to try a small swatch to try getting the hang of these stitch combinations before trying it on your project.

Q: is the cable panel worked 4 times separately?

    1 Answer

A: Yes, it is worked 4 times. Proceed in Cable Panel as follows: 1st rnd: (RS). Ch 2. *2 hdc in next hdc. Work 1st row of Cable Panel across next 20 hdc. Rep from * around. Join. Turn If we were to break down the first round, for example, it would look like this Ch 2 Your repeat starts 2 hdc in next hdc. Work 1st row of Cable Panel across next 20 hdc 2 hdc in next hdc. Work 1st row of Cable Panel across next 20 hdc 2 hdc in next hdc. Work 1st row of Cable Panel across next 20 hdc 2 hdc in next hdc. Work 1st row of Cable Panel across next 20 hdc Note that as you increase each round, the number of hdc worked in between each cable panel will also increase. We hope this helps!
