8 days agoI am 56 yrs old and just recently started crocheting again after about 40 years. I never knew all the stitches, terms or even read a diagram until I started again. I’d been wanting to make a cable look throw so I grabbed my yarn and started practicing this pattern. I only messed up once (which was a miracle considering what was going on in my life at the time), but I managed to make this pattern and I am so happy. Thank you for clear directions and a great pattern!Yes, I recommend this product.

2 years agoI found the written pattern difficult to understand. The way I read it, the second row of the set up would be one little section of 9 front post double crochets at the beginning followed by repeats of 5 single crochets and chain one, but that definitely isn't correct. I think the ** is misplaced. That is really the only reason for my rating of 4 rather than 5 stars. That being said, the chart made perfect sense to me and I was able to work the project using that. Working the front post triple crochets behind other stitches (as in row 5 of the repeat) was difficult to manage simply from a dexterity standpoint. I'm not finished, I only have about 10 inches complete, but the pattern works up BEAUTIFULLY and I cannot wait to have my living room upgraded with this piece!Yes, I recommend this product.
