    1 - 2 of 2 Questions

Q: I’m working on the back side of the pattern now with the 12 month chest measurements but the stitch count is one off in the first row of that section. It says to work 34 stitches but I’m working into a 71 stitch row. What am I supposed to do?

    1 Answer

A: At this point in the pattern, you will have already worked the first 18 stitches when crocheting the right front. Now you are working the back of your Bobbly Baby Crochet Cardigan. After you attach the yarn and work into the first stitch, you work 34 additional stitches (35 stitches total). When you finish this section, the final 18 stitches are used for the left back. As such, 18+35+18 =71, your stitches should add up to the original 71. Do not hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions.

Q: Body 2nd Row - I am confused as to why we are working bobble stitches into the RS of our work when the bobble stitch will pop out on the wrong side?

    1 Answer

A: The bobbles are worked on the right side of the fabric simply because that is how the designer has designed the cardigan. You can push the bobbles to the right side of the fabric for more prominence on the right side if you wish. We do hope you enjoy the cardigan. Happy stitching!
