2 years agoVery pleased with the end result and an easy to follow pattern. A lovely warm winter jumper. I have marked it down a star as I used Caron Simply Soft and no matter how careful I am, the ends keep flicking out where I have sewn them in. I have to go over this jumper every time I wear or wash this to check it's all ok.Yes, I recommend this product.

Start typing your question and we'll check if it was already asked and answered.1 - 7 of 7 QuestionsQ: For the sleeves… when you skip the stitches when you’re shaping the armholes, are the stitches skipped how big the armhole is going to be?
3 months ago1 AnswerA: You are correct. The stitches that you skip as well as the stitches that you leave unworked will be the size of the armhole, but remember that one panel (the front or the back) is only one-half of an armhole. We hope you enjoy your Crochet Turtleneck Pullover!

5 months ago2 AnswersA: When the stitch counts of the row changes, sometimes you will end on a sc, and sometimes on a dc as you work your Adult's Crochet Turtleneck Pullover. And, yes, when the ch 1 does not count as a stitch, you should work your sc and dc into the first actual stitch.
4 months agoHelpful?Q: I see that the chain 3 counts as a double crochet. With the chain 1, is the1st stitch in the same as the chain?
5 months ago1 AnswerA: For your Adult Crochet Turtleneck Pullover, when the first instruction is ch 3, that ch 3 counts as a dc, and you work into the second stitch. When you begin the row with a ch 1, you work into the first stitch, and the chain does not count as a stitch, nor does it work. We hope this helps. Do not hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions.

5 months ago1 AnswerA: Caron® Simply Soft® (Heathers: 5 oz/141.7 g; 250 yds/228 m) 5 6 7 8 9 10 skeins depending upon size made Caron® Simply Soft® (Solids: 6 oz/170.1 g; 315 yds/288 m) 4 5 6 7 8 9 skeins depending upon size made If using a different yarn, we would not be able to determine the amount of yarn required.
5 months agoHelpful?Q: What is the difference between version 1 and version 2
5 months ago1 AnswerA: The difference between Version 1 and Version 2 is the color of yarn used.
5 months agoHelpful?Q: For the sleeves, when it says to continue the pattern, am I repeating rows 1-6 until I get the desired measurement?
a year ago1 AnswerA: When working on the sleeves for the Caron Adult Crochet Turtleneck Pullover, to “Cont even in pat until work from lower edges measures…” means to continue working in the established stitch pattern without increasing or decreasing until your sleeve measures the length according to the size you are making (or to fit the arm length for the wearer of the sweater - some peoples’ arms may be longer or shorter).
a year agoHelpful?Q: I'm confused, is this supposed to be worked in the round?
2 years ago1 AnswerA: Thank you for reaching out! This beautiful sweater is not worked in the round. You will be working in rows, creating separate pieces as shown in the diagrams on the last page which are then seamed together. We hope this helps!
