a year agoI really love this pattern. I have made 5 of these sweaters and they all came out great. My husband got a complement from a coworker last week. He said it was the nicest Crochet sweater he had ever seen. I am currently working on 3 more now. I have used all kinds of yarn and I use a 4.5 mm for cuffs and a 5.5 mm for The main body. The pattern is easy to understand and Great for a beginner.Yes, I recommend this product.

a year agoI have always seen a handmade sweater as the perfect gift. I have made 3 of these sweaters, and they all turned out beautifully! This pattern is quick and easy and my ultimate go-to crochet sweater pattern. If I had to choose another pattern as my go-to, it would be a crochet sweater that is a bit more relaxed and loose fitting but other than that, the stitch is beautiful and the sizing is accurate.Helpful?Quality of Product, 5.0 out of 5Value of Product, 5.0 out of 51 out of 5 stars.terrible
10 months agothe body was ok, but the sleeves are horrid. completely disproportionate and an overall waist of yarn and time. No, I do not recommend this product.

Start typing your question and we'll check if it was already asked and answered.1 - 10 of 14 QuestionsQ: On the sleeves, where it says "Cont even in pat until work from lower edge measures", does this mean from the very first row we did of the sleeves or where the increasing rows stop?
a month ago1 AnswerA: When working your Adult's Crochet Crew Neck Pullover, please measure from your initial foundation chain at the beginning of the ribbing on your sleeve.
a month agoHelpful?Q: Working on Medium size sleeve. I have the sleeve at the finished length of 20in long. It is not long enough for my husband's arm, can I add 2 more inches to the sleeves?
3 months ago1 AnswerA: Yes, you absolutely may add the length you need for your husband’s arms. Unfortunately, it is impossible to make sure all patterns fit all people as-written, but as the maker, you have the flexibility to make it work for you and your loved ones. We hope you both enjoy the Crochet Crew Neck Pullover!
3 months agoHelpful?Q: Sleeve: do you continue to increase the stitches up to 18 inches? Or do you stop increasing after the "next rows" section? Picture shows sleeve increases until last few rows
3 months ago1 AnswerA: The increases happen as written: 6th row (inc row) Repeat 3rd to 6th rows 2 (3-3-4-6-7) times more. Sizes XS/S, M, L, XL and 2/3XL only: three rows (2nd of the three rows is an increase row). Rep last 3 rows 5 (5-4-3-0) time(s) more. All sizes: Cont even in pat until work from lower edge measures... This instruction means no further increases required.
3 months agoHelpful?Q: Hi, I'm about to start the sleeves but I'm a bit confused by the section: "Sew in sleeves, placing rows above markers along unworked sts of Front and Back to form square armholes." I don't understand what I'm supposed to do.
5 months ago1 AnswerA: The instructions you are referring to are performed after the sleeves are completed. We've marked up a schematic for the Adult Crochet Crew Neck Pullover showing how the sleeves will attach. When crocheting the sleeves, you were instructed to place a marker when almost done. The red section shows where those stitches are attached to the unworked stitches left behind when working the body of the sections.
5 months agoHelpful?Q: I'm doing the shaping shoulders section (back panel). Is this section made up of 2 rows only? Or do I need to do the whole pattern, resulting in 6 rows?
7 months ago1 AnswerA: Shaping the shoulders on the back of your Adult Crochet Crew Neck Pullover is worked across the two rows. We hope this has been helpful!
7 months agoHelpful?Q: Hello, is this pattern made up a front and back panel or is it made in the round?
10 months ago1 AnswerA: The Adult's Crew Neck Crochet Pullover is made as separate front and back panels and seamed at the end.
10 months agoHelpful?Q: I'm confused by the sleeve pattern after I have got to the 43 STS it says for sizes xs/s, ml, l & XL and 2/3xl only repeat until 55 stitches. But surely that means the 4/5 would have smaller sleeves Could you confirm please? Thank you!
a year ago1 AnswerA: The 3 additional rows of instruction increase the sleeve for all sizes except the 4/5XL because that size is already big enough. The stitch count is already sufficient and in the previous step it had more rows worked. So it is not shorter nor smaller around. The pattern is correct as written, if you follow the instructions and have proper gauge it will fit.
a year agoHelpful?Q: I’m using the the suggested yarn and the hook size for this pattern, but my sample seems significantly smaller than what the Gauge guideline says. I have tried 5mm, 5.5mm, and 6mm hooks. Any idea what I could be doing wrong?
a year ago1 AnswerA: You may be pulling the yarn after completing a stitch or holding too tight on the tension. Gauge - single crochets - should be 13 stitches in 4". It may require going up even more sizes if you are still tight.
a year agoHelpful?Q: im currently doing the sleeves im on the 6th row (inc) it says i should ch3 (counts as dc) then do an sc in the next dc. this would mean skipping a stitch. is this right? ive counted all my stitches and it works out
a year ago1 AnswerA: In the 6th row for the sleeves of the Caron Adult Crochet Crew Neck Pullover, you will work that first sc into the same dc that the ch-3 comes from. I have underlined the increases in the row for you below. Please note that you will work the ch 3 and then work 1 sc in the first dc, not “next dc.” 6th row (inc row): Ch 3 (counts as dc). 1 sc in first dc. *1 dc in next sc. 1 sc in next dc. Rep from * to last 2 sts. 1 dc in next sc. (1 sc. 1 dc) in top of ch 3. Turn. It sounds like you may have worked it correctly if you got the correct stitch count. You’re so close to the end! You can do this!
a year agoHelpful?Q: What size of yarn is used for this pattern? I have fine (2).
a year ago1 AnswerA: Caron Simply Soft is categorized as a #4 yarn. We would not recommend using a #2 yarn.
