6 months agoThe instructions were easy to follow and the results were lovely. However, I would suggest when making the band that you use a one size smaller hook. The band does "stretch" a bit.Yes, I recommend this product.

8 months agoI love the look of this cap BUT the instructions are not very clear. It needs to specify that the band gets stitched on top of the cap. I didn't realize this until I read the reviews. Perhaps a little re-writing is needed.Helpful?Response from Yarnspirations:8 months agoConsumer CareWe are sorry the instructions seemed unclear. We are happy to assist you any time you have a pattern question. The instructions in this pattern do state to tack in place, which is stitching it in place.Raleigh NC2 out of 5 stars.Pattern does not match photo

Questions
Start typing your question and we'll check if it was already asked and answered.1 - 1 of 1 QuestionQ: what does crochet in both front and back loop of sc. Alternating each row
a year ago2 AnswersA: In this pattern, when increasing, instead of working two stitches in to both loops at the same time, the designer asks you to crochet 1sc into the front loop and then 1sc into the back loop. For the first round it is every stitch, and the second round it is every other stitch, the third round is every 3rd stitch. You continue in this manner until their are 78 stitches. At this point you will stop increasing, and just sc in all stitches until the hat is 7.5" from the center to the outside edge. At this point you start the brim. We hope that gets you moving toward a finished hat.
