a year agoI've bought Caron Cakes before and I love the colors. Sometimes I can't find more than one. They tend to go fast at Michael's.Helpful?Stevensville, Ontario4 out of 5 stars.a month agoThis is the exact same pattern as the Free Caron Lace & Ribs Crochet Triangle Shawl Pattern. I loved it - the yarn is wonderful, the colour changes are beautiful, the stitches are impressive yet simple. I made a few minor changes because the shawl was bowing in the wrong direction - no enough stitches - I added a few extra in the starting round and instead of 1 in the middle chain 2, I increased to 2 stitches chain 2 2 stitches when rounding the corner - I will be making more of this shawl!!!!Yes, I recommend this product.

Questions
Start typing your question and we'll check if it was already asked and answered.1 - 2 of 2 QuestionsQ: stitch count for each row please beyond the first eight.
9 months ago1 AnswerA: Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with a stitch count for every single row after row 8 of the Sunset Dreams Crochet Shawl. However, you will be repeating rows 5-8 after completing row 8. Rows 5-7 each increase by 4 dc (one dc at each edge and 2 dc at the center spine). Row 8 increases by 2 dc and 2 chains at each edge, and all rows will have a (dc, ch 2, dc) worked into the center ch-2 space. As long as you can verify these increases and do not skip stitches in the rows when you should not, you’ll be right on track. Attached is a marked-up diagram to compare to what we have described. Happy stitching!
9 months agoHelpful?Q: What is the best way to ensure the color changes at the end of the row?
2 years ago1 AnswerA: Thank you for reaching out. For self striping yarns, we typically recommend letting the yarn do the colorwork for you. As every project is different, this means that the colors will not change at the end of the row. We hope this helps!
