    Very nice, but sizing is too small.

    Very nice and comfy socks, but the sizing is definitely made for girl and not women. No matter the size of yarn and hook I use, I always end up with girl foot size 10 (large pattern gives me 7" max). Otherwise the girls are so happy with them, they bring them everywhere they go!

    Thank you for sharing your experience with the Crochet Slipper Socks. Gauge has a HUGE influence on patterns such as these. Were you able to achieve and maintain (that being the harder part :-) the stated gauge of 8 sc and 8 rows = 4" [10 cm] with smaller hook and 2 strands tog? 10 sc and 11 rows = 4" [10 cm] with smaller hook and 1 strand. 8 sc and 9 rows = 4" [10 cm] with larger hook and 1 strand. I know my tendency, especially when making socks is to work a very tight fabric and my gauge will often get away from me. I'm glad your girls are happy with them.
