a year agoVery nice and comfy socks, but the sizing is definitely made for girl and not women. No matter the size of yarn and hook I use, I always end up with girl foot size 10 (large pattern gives me 7" max). Otherwise the girls are so happy with them, they bring them everywhere they go!Helpful?Response from Yarnspirations:a year agoConsumer CareThank you for sharing your experience with the Crochet Slipper Socks. Gauge has a HUGE influence on patterns such as these. Were you able to achieve and maintain (that being the harder part :-) the stated gauge of 8 sc and 8 rows = 4" [10 cm] with smaller hook and 2 strands tog? 10 sc and 11 rows = 4" [10 cm] with smaller hook and 1 strand. 8 sc and 9 rows = 4" [10 cm] with larger hook and 1 strand. I know my tendency, especially when making socks is to work a very tight fabric and my gauge will often get away from me. I'm glad your girls are happy with them. -
