Lesson 1: setting up the body of the sweater

In Lesson 1 we'll be casting on, knitting twisted ribbing, and setting up the body of the sweater to begin cables.We’ll be starting the body pieces with twisted ribbing. We will also begin knitting the cable panels and learning how to read cable charts.

Lesson 2: shaping the raglans

In Lesson 2 we will be starting to shape the raglan armholes on the body pieces. We will continue working cable panel patterns, at the same time shaping the raglan armholes and working the front neck shaping.

Lesson 3: shaping the sleeves

In Lesson 3 we'll be setting up the cabling on the sleeves and increasing at the edges to shape the sleeves. Learn how to incorporate cable textures into sleeve increases and the stitch set-ups for perfect raglan sleeve seams.

Lesson 4: sweater assembly

In this final lesson, we'll be seaming the sweater together and learning how to block to bring out the best in your stitches! Learn how to block pure wool garment pieces for the best results and explore flawless finishing techniques too.
Tip: Leave a long tail on your last row so you can seam it shut later.
