Great bulky yarn. Soft, easy to use and 6 skeins- not one knot!!! Great colors and uniform gradient. Looking forward to another crochet project for this yarn.

The yarn itself is nice enough, but the color as changed dramatically. It used to have several light colors in the skein, now it is all very dark.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: B BERNAT WAVELENGTH YARN... how soft is it? Like on a scale of one to ten, with Bernet velvet being a 10 & dish scrub yarn being a one. I realize this is subjective & just opinion but being homebound & unable to go feel it myself I'd appreciate it MUCH!

    1 Answer

A: It depends upon whether you crochet it or knit it. It's a bit softer in a stocking stitch because the yarn is more relaxed. Crocheted items are a bit stiffer. Overall, the yarn worked in a knit is about a 7 in softness, and 6 in a crocheted item. When touched in the ball it's about an 8. I hope this helps. I subsequently ordered more balls of some colors and found the colorways were somewhat different from the first colorways I bought. It seems the colors where less defined because of more marling. (just in case this is helpful..)
