a month ago1 AnswerA: When making your Crochet Shawl Baby Cardigan and working the sleeves, “continue even in the pattern means that you will continue to work the pattern as established without any increases or decreases. For this pattern, Ch 1. 1 sc in first sc. 1 sc in first ch-1 sp. *Ch 1. Skip next sc. 1 sc in next ch-1 sp. Rep from * to last sc. 1 sc in last sc. Turn. We hope this gives you the clarity you need to move forward with your project!
a month agoHelpful?Q: Left Front last row before neck shaping row- should it have “turn” to start first neck shaping row? Or else at start of first row?
a month ago1 AnswerA: Thank you for reaching out regarding the Crochet Shawl Collar Baby Cardigan. The last row of the Left Front before the neck shaping is the 2nd row of the instructions for the Back. You will work the row in its entirety and then turn in your work to prepare for the Shape Neck: 1st Row. Happy stitching!
a month agoHelpful?Q: Is there an error on Left front, 3rd row? Shouldn’t slip stitches be made in each of the first “2” scs then in the first ch space to make 3 slip stitches? I can’t get the final stitch count to work out otherwise.
4 months ago1 AnswerA: Thank you for pointing out this typo in the Shawl Collar Baby Cardigan. Yes, you should slip stotch in the first 2 sc. We will pass this info onto the design team, and apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused.
4 months agoHelpful?Q: What size buttons?
5 months ago1 AnswerA: As the pattern designer does not state a button size, we recommend that you take your sweater with you when you purchase the buttons to ensure a proper fit.
5 months agoHelpful?Q: I don’t understand the front left description on what to do..
a year ago1 AnswerA: The front left is started as a new piece, using the same instructions you used to create the back. You work the front piece for 3 (3¼-3¼-3½)" depending on the size, and then begin the neck shaping.
a year agoHelpful?Q: This pattern does not give the chains for the left front to get started with it.
a year ago1 AnswerA: Please see the instructions for the Left Front below. LEFT FRONT Note: Front is worked sideways. Work from ** to ** as given for Back. This means you will need to go to the Back section of the pattern and look for the first set of double asterisks to know the chain count for the size you are making. You will work as for the back section until you reach the second set of double asterisks. BACK **With larger hook and A, ch 42 (46-48-52).
