Questions
Start typing your question and we'll check if it was already asked and answered.1 - 1 of 1 QuestionQ: Please confirm the number of stitches for the sleeves. I joined to 51 stitches and knit row 3 of the Lace pattern. The number of stitches works but when I completed the sleeve that row “shows”. Thank you.
a year ago1 AnswerA: The stitch counts for the sleeves of the Bernat Leaf and Lace Set are 48 (51) respectively. When beginning the sleeves, you will want to keep in mind which stitch in the row your sleeves begin at in the lace pattern to determine how you will want to start the sleeves. The first sleeve begins at the 41st stitch of the lace pattern for the 6/12 month size and the second sleeve begins on the 168th stitch of the lace pattern. This is where reading your knitting will be extremely beneficial. The 41st stitch should be a purl stitch, but please check your knitting to be sure of my math. The 168th stitch should also be a purl stitch, but again, please double check your knitting. I hope this helps you with a seamless beginning for your sleeves. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for help in the future. Happy knitting!
