I crocheted this earlier this year and it's so beautiful. A real statement piece. And like another reviewer, a cat magnet

This was my 4th blanket that I have completed. I wanted something that was beginner friendly but yet challenging. I love that this pattern teaches you different stitches and techniques. Super warm blanket. I kept falling asleep while making it. Took approximately 6 1/2 balls of yarn while using a size 8mm crochet hook.

I am very happy with how the project turned out. It’s so cozy and warm.

I bought this to make a blanket for a friend as a birthday gift. She loves it. My cat loved it too. She kept sitting on it while I was crocheting it and kneading it

The pattern was easy to follow. I wish the pattern had a row count instead of relying on the measurement. The blanket came out beautiful. Definitely an easier pattern to follow for beginners.

I thought this pattern was very easy to learn and make. I thought the video was helpful, too. Still, I recommend making a test swatch first to get the gauge and pattern down before making the whole blanket. This was particularly useful for me to learn the pattern. I wanted to make the blanket larger, and the gauge swatch also made it easier to scale the pattern. The pattern is a two row repeat which gained just under 1” of fabric per repeat. In the end, I was surprised at how easy it was to achieve such a nice looking result.

Halfway done and enjoying the ease of this pattern. My husband said it looks sharp and the video was very helpful.

I made a go at this. and I am not an inexperienced needle-crafter. The directions were confusing, and the accompanying video was useless because the demonstrator used such thick yarn you could not see what he was doing. Really a miserable experience.
