a year agoI downloaded this pattern some time ago, but I am working on it and almost done. I believe there are some errors in the buttonhole band. It appears to start at the bottom, but the 2nd row should be from the top down, although the first button hole appears several stitches in. I believe this row should be reversed or the 1st row should start at the top left. The rest of the pattern was easy to follow and I am happy with the outcome. I took the liberty to make a few changes, such as shortening the sleeves, and using a different color scheme.Helpful?Response from Yarnspirations:a year agoConsumer CareThank you for your feedback on the Flower Cardigan. It looks like indeed there is an issue with the pattern, and either of the solutions you suggest would work well to remedy it. We appreciate that you took the time to share your findings and are glad that you were able to implement the additional customizations to truly make it work for you. -

3 days ago1 AnswerA: When sewing in the sleeves on the Flower Crochet Cardigan, you should already have sewn the shoulder seams together. Make sure to lie the cardigan on a firm, flat surface with the front facing up. Fold the sleeves in half lengthwise and mark the center stitch of each sleeve at the sleeve cap with a locking stitch marker. You can also lock that stitch with the shoulder seam. Then, mark each end stitch of the sleeve cap to the corresponding end stitches of the armholes. Now, you can seam the sleeve cap to the armhole. You may have to work with it a bit, easing in stitches. It may take a bit of trial-and-error. After you have sewn in the sleeve caps to the armholes, you may then sew the sleeves beginning at the cuffs to the underarm and then down the length of the side of the cardigan in one fell swoop. While we recommend mattress stitch, you may use any method you prefer. Happy stitching!
