      Super simple, quick, and cute!

very easy to follow along. I have made baby sweaters before using mostly pattern tutorials on YouTube, and this was my very first written pattern. I will say that I am a very avid crocheter, but this was extremely simple and SUPER quick to work up. I would make this again given the circumstances.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: When you split the body and arms, I have 29 stitches plus the chains, but I had the right number of stitches in the row before you split. Did I add stitches somehow unintentionally?

      1 Answer

A: When you work the “Divide Sleeves and Body” round for the Bernat Dip Down Crochet Pullover, you will work across body stitches and skip the stitches for the sleeves. By the end of the round, you should have 36 (40) dc for the front and 36 (40) dc for the back for a total of 72 (80) dc in the round. You will have 3 chains for each sleeve that will be worked when you work the sleeves later. Divide Sleeves and Body: Next rnd: Ch 2. 1 dc in next 16 (18) dc. 1 dc in ch-1 sp of next V st. Ch 3 for underarm. Skip next 28 (30) dc. (For the first sleeve.) 1 dc in ch-1 sp of next V st. 1 dc in each of next 34 (38) dc. 1 dc in ch-1 sp of next V st. Ch 3 for underarm. Skip next 28 (30) dc. (For the second sleeve.) 1 dc in ch-1 sp of next V st. 1 dc in last 17 (19) dc. Join. I hope this added clarification will help you to determine whether or not you need to redo the “Divide Sleeves and Body” round or crochet forward. Please email inquire@yarnspirations.com if you need further assistance.

Q: In row 2-9, do you repeat the V stitch 4 times in the same spot or just repeat the V stitch as you go along the row in the V stitch that was created in the 1st row?

      1 Answer

A: The V-stitches that are made in Rnds 2-9 are to shape the raglan of the Bernat Dip Down Crochet Pullover. You will be making your V-sts in the ch-2 space of the V-sts in previous rounds as you continue to work. You will have 4 V-sts per round.

Q: I'm not seeing the complete pattern with the post stitch ribbing to finish off the piece when I download the pattern

      1 Answer

A: Page 2, second column: **Next 5 rnds: Ch 2. *Dcbp around next st. Dcfp around next st. Rep from * to last st. Dcbp around last st. Join. Fasten off at end of 5th rnd.** And same column for the sleeves: Work from ** to ** as given above. The asterisks in the sleeves refer to the asterisks in the body section.
