4 years agoAfter a stroke, and part of my occupational therapy, I decided to take the advice of a friend and try to crochet a blanket. I picked up the yarn and paid for it and realized I could’ve purchased a blanket for the cost of the yarn that would’ve been completed and fuzzy and nice. I am enjoying crocheting and excited that I can still crochet after a stroke with vision loss. I only purchased three skeins and realized I needed two more to make a sizable blanket. That would be another $20 plus shipping and tax which is way too expensive for a blanket that is not yet assembled. So although the yarn is very nice, I don’t think it has the value considering the cost. However, one might decide that the pleasure of crocheting is worth the time and cost to make a personalized product at a higher price than buying already made products. I however, like to make things myself to save on costs. If the price was reasonable, I would rate this 5 stars.Helpful?Anonymous2 out of 5 stars.Beautiful color, awful knotting
4 years agoI bought this yarn to make my first grandchild a blanket. I love the color and the softness. I was really excited, however I was very quickly disappointed and frustrated. Pulling from the center of the skein has been the way I crochet for years. This yarn pulls out in chunks, knotted and looped. I would undo it and lay it flat and it would STILL knot up. As beautiful as this yarn is I will NEVER use it again.Helpful? -
