2 years agoLove this pattern with its easy repeat. (To previous commenter the shells are the 9 dc) It looks so difficult but it’s a simple repeat and works up so different depending on yarn colours. Did one out of solid white and it is so beautiful!!Yes, I recommend this product.

2 years agoI have tried this pattern several times. I cannot get passed row 4. The instructions for row 4 are ambiguous. It instructs to make a shell, without stating which of the prior shells to make. There’s a shell with 9 dbtr, a shell with 2 dc/ch 1/ 2dc, and a shell with 5 dc…all prior to row 4. Then, in row 4 it just says “shell”. Which shell?! Why not establish the shell first?! What a disappointment.No, I do not recommend this product.

Row 2 provides the shell definition as 9 dtr in one stitch ("9 dtr in next sc– shell made.") When instructed to work a shell in Row 4, you will work 9dtr in the indicated stitch. You will also work this shell when instructed to "shell" in Row 6 as well. We hope this helps you on your way. 2 years ago1 AnswerA: Thank you for reaching out regarding the Red Heart O’Go Forest Fans Afghan. The pattern has a repeat of 10 + 1 and you will need to add one extra chain for the start.
