a year ago1 AnswerA: It might seem counterintuitive but you'll go ahead and knit it in the white. The SSK that immediately follows is what keeps the stripes in order. Since you do the ssk in the grey color your colors stay in order and will continue to stay that way and transition through the shaping smoothly. The same goes for the matching k2tog further in the round. I went ahead and swatched rows 51-56 just to be sure and it works out beautifully. I hope this gets you back on track and you finish your project!
