4 years agoI have used this yarn quite a bit and recommend it. I'm particularly enjoying making pieces with the white, the grey marl and the grey. It's such a refreshing colour combination from the usual pastels. The yarn is very soft and works up well. With the grey marl in particular it seems to vary a bit from dye lot to dye lot so if buying for a project make sure to buy enough the first time.Helpful?- Verified Purchaser

a year agoI will never use this yarn again. It is taking me twice as long to make a blanket because it splits and tangles more than any yarn I’ve used before. I love the softness and colors but it just is too hard to work with. No, I do not recommend this product.
Helpful?Quality of Product, 1.0 out of 5Value of Product, 1.0 out of 5Response from Yarnspirations:a year agoConsumer CareWe are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with tangles, as you start your ball of yarn. This happens quite frequently to crafters and cannot always be prevented. When starting a ball of yarn, patience is required to avoid tangles. We hope that you find the following tips helpful! Every ball of yarn has two ends, one in the center of the ball, and one usually under the wrapper. We recommend always remove the wrapper first. The push the outside edges together to return the ball to its natural state. This yarn is wound in a format called an Aryton Ball. It is designed to work from the outside. If pulling from the inside, you can untwist the yarn causing it to become very loosely plied. Additionally, reaching into the middle of a ball and trying to work from that end will often result in tangles. If you have been working from the outside, and the splitting happens in small sections of loosely plied yarns, we can review the yarn. Please email inquire@yarnspirations.com so we can work together to complete a quality review.2 Ratings-Only Reviews

3 months ago1 AnswerA: Patons Beehive Astra had approximately 210 yards in 50 grams which would be 420 yards in 100g. This yarn is definitely thicker at 359 yards in 100g, but it is the closest to the Beehive Astra.
