It calls it a double slip stitch, but the instructions on working the dsst don't add up. At the end of completion, I have 3 loops on my hook not 2 as stated. The end results do not have a front and back loop for row 12
a year ago1 AnswerA: I'm sorry you are having trouble with the double slip stitch on the V-Topper. The instructions state: You will have one loop on the hook when you start dsst: Double slip stitch— Insert hook in same dc (dc that was just worked into), yarn over and draw up a loop;>>>> this makes 1 loop on the hook- insert hook into next dc, yarn over and draw loop through dc >>>> this creates a third loop that is used to draw through the other two loops on the hook and through the 2 loops on hook. Drawing the third loop through the other two will create a chain with a front and a back loop. I've attached a picture of a swatch I created using the instruction above. I hope this can get you back on track. Do not hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions.
